The fact that those tags had not been considered is the very reason why I 
mentioned them.

The RFC period of the deprecation proposal was too short to discuss it 
properly. Anyway, deprecation is one thing and automated edits are another 
thing. Tag deprecation is no carte blache for automated tag changes or 
deletions. They need to be discussed separately, and this is what we're doing 
right now.
